No. The file is opened and converted inside your browser. It is never sent to a server.

What JSON shape is expected?

An array of objects such as [{"name": "A", "amount": 1}], or an array of arrays. A single object becomes one row.

JavaScript is turned off. InspireTools processes files in your browser, so the tools need JavaScript to run.
