Are my files uploaded?

No. Files are read and processed inside your browser. They are never sent to a server, and closing the tab discards them.

Is this a virus scanner?

No. It tells you what kind of file it is and flags a misleading extension, but it does not detect malware.

It measures how random the bytes are. Values close to 8 bits per byte mean the data is compressed or encrypted; text is usually between 4 and 5.

JavaScript is turned off. InspireTools processes files in your browser, so the tools need JavaScript to run.
