What does removing metadata delete?

The document information dictionary and the XMP metadata packet. It does not remove comments, attachments or visible content.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. The document is opened and rewritten inside your browser. It is never sent to a server, and closing the tab discards it.

Any change to a signed PDF invalidates its digital signature. Treat the result as unsigned and keep the original.

JavaScript is turned off. InspireTools processes files in your browser, so the tools need JavaScript to run.
