Does it find personal details in the visible text?

No. It checks the file's hidden parts. Read the visible pages yourself, and use Redact PDF to remove text permanently.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. The document is opened and rewritten inside your browser. It is never sent to a server, and closing the tab discards it.

JavaScript is turned off. InspireTools processes files in your browser, so the tools need JavaScript to run.

Check a PDF for hidden metadata, scripts, attachments and form data before you share it.
