Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. The document is opened and rewritten inside your browser. It is never sent to a server, and closing the tab discards it.

Which languages and symbols can I use?

With the default Noto Sans font: Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese, Hindi and Marathi (Devanagari), and symbols such as the rupee sign. Only the characters you use are embedded. The Helvetica, Times and Courier options cover Latin text only. Emoji and other scripts are not supported yet.

What happens to digital signatures?

Any change to a signed PDF invalidates its digital signature. Treat the result as unsigned and keep the original.
