Is my video uploaded?

No. The video is processed on your device, inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.

Which browsers does it work in?

Current Chrome, Edge and Firefox, and Safari 16.4 or later. Video is decoded and encoded with the codecs built into your browser. MP4 and MOV (H.264) need a browser with an H.264 encoder, which Chrome, Edge, Safari and most versions of Firefox have; WebM works in all of them.

Why is my GIF so large?

GIF is an old format with weak compression. Keep clips under 10 seconds, the width at 480 pixels or less and the frame rate around 10 to 12.
